Quicksilver Aircraft.

GWS IS YOUR BEST RESOURCE FOR QUICKSILVER IN TAIWAN

NOTE : DYE LOTS MAY VARY

The GT-500 development program was started with the goal of producing the best performing Quicksilver ever. Quicksilver’s aim was to design an aircraft that would transcend the category of ultralight & provide general aviation with the entry level aircraft it desperately needed. The focus was on more speed, better aerodynamics, and a greater range.

Utilizing their award winning CAD/CAM design & engineering techniques, and the most extensive R&D testing in the industry, Quicksilver’s engineers achieved that goal and more.

The GT 500 can climb from 0 to 10,000 feet in just 8.5 minutes*, and can cover 100 miles in about 70 minutes.
When you add all this to the superb handling characteristics that have long been the Quicksilver’s hallmark, you have an aircraft that delivers pleasure as well as performance.

An Ideal Trainer

The GT 500 is remarkably docile and easy to fly. It’s dual three-axis controls are responsive without sacrificing low speed stability. The adjustable trim & flaps allow for positive slow flight and gentle stall at about 39 mph. It cruises from 55 to 80 mph, with a top speed of about 90 mph.** Only about 140 feet is required for the take off roll.*** A generous useful load capacity can easily accomodate two people and some extra gear.

*Solo pilot, standard day, climb prop **Top speed with doors ***2 average people, standard day

               level Ag Plane.

Your Spray System equipped Quicksilver GT500,
when covering approximately 150 acres per hour
and operating at $82.80 per hour results in an
average cost of $0.55 per acre. At $41.60 per
hour your cost is $0.28 per acre.

The General Aviation Aircraft, when covering
approximately 300 acres per hour and operating at
$470.26 per hour, costs on average $1.57 per acre.
At $306.95 per hour, your cost is $1.02 per acre.

The operating cost for your Quicksilver GT500
equipped with a Spray System has a savings of
87% of the per hour cost and a 73% savings over
the per acre cost of the General Aviation Aircraft.

When spraying an average of 5 liters per hectare, the
coverage per hour of the GT500 could increase up
to about 200 acres, 83 hectares per hour, thereby
reducing the cost per acre for the GT 500 by about
25%. Figures are based upon only 3 loads per hour.
